Frequently Asked Questions

General

Yes! I'm accepting only 8 commissions throughout 2021. If you are interested in custom artwork for a client, your loved one, or yourself, please review my commission page to submit a request.
Yes! I occasionally teach an abstract watercolor workshop through Brooklyn Craft Company. Due to COVID-19, classes are now virtual, so anyone can attend. This mellow, beginner-level workshop will take you on a tour of watercolor basics, and it usually sells out fast, so don’t wait to reserve your spot here. If there are currently no classes scheduled, be sure to follow my Instagram for updates.
Yes! Please contact me to discuss.

Paintings

All available artwork for sale can be viewed here. If there are none listed, it means they have all sold, but there are always new works in progress. Subscribe to my mailing list to be notified when new work is made available.
If the piece is listed as being framed, it will come framed. All other work is unframed by default. If you are interested in framing, email me at hello@amandamicheleart.com, and I'll help select the perfect frame for your needs.
Most of my work is created in watercolor and ink. I wrote a blog post about my favorite tools and why I love them here.
I'm taking all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, so studio visits remain limited, masked, and socially distanced. If you would like to make an appointment to view any work in person for purchase, please email me at hello@amandamicheleart.com.
I tend to release 1 or 2 collections per year. There is no set schedule for when I release a new body of work, but subscribers to my email list always receive an exclusive first look at any release. I also try my best to announce upcoming exhibits, openings, and release dates through Instagram and I sell a few smaller pieces there as well.

Prints

A giclee print is a digital reproduction of an original painting using a specialized inkjet printer. Each of my prints are archival quality and printed on environmentally-friendly bamboo paper. All currently available prints are limited editions, which means there is only a set number that will ever be available for sale.
No, only a small handful of originals will ever be made into prints.
No, I don't offer framing for prints at this time.
No. All prints are for sale as-is, and no customization can be made.

Framed pieces and framing options are only available for U.S. collectors at this time.

Unframed paintings and prints are shipped flat in a padded mailer made of recycled materials, protected with stiff, eco-friendly chipboard.
Yes! If you're near Brooklyn when you check-out, you should have an option available for local delivery. After purchase, I will follow-up via email to schedule a safe exchange of the work either at my studio or at your home.
Orders are shipped once a week, and shipping times vary. You will receive an automatic shipping notification with tracking via email once a label has been made so you can follow your delivery's progress.

Returns

If your piece gets lost or damaged, we offer a replacement or full refund.
Sales are final, unless I make a mistake in the listing or the colors are grossly misrepresented in the photos. Please note that colors may be a bit different than pictured due to your monitor’s settings. If you are unsure if the colors or details you see in a painting are exactly what you want, please email me, and I'd be happy to send additional photos and/or a video.
